71784 – Horiz. Sliding Steel Weld-In Weathertight Window

This heavy marine all weld-in mild steel stainless steel sliding weathertight window is available in custom shapes and sizes. The steel window frame is usually sandblasted and primed to suit most specifications. Stainless frames come in either 304 or 316 grades. It will suit a glass thickness of 10mm or thicker.

This window has a 304 stainless retaining ring and a full height aluminum handle for ease of opening.

Felt weather strips are used to seal the window once the glass pressure clamps are tightened. A 4” high inner aluminum dam is added for extra protection against water penetration under severe

conditions. A rubber seal on the exterior prevents most water infiltration.

Pictured window has a brass clamping ring and mill steel frame with radius corners. Other finishes are available.

Glass is clear solid tempered. Other tinted glass options are available. Heated glass can be adapted to this type of frame.
